These sealing wax sticks consist of refined paraffin waxes, microcrystalline waxes and color pigments. They melt quickly and are very sticky when cooled, so they can stick tightly to what you want to seal.
If you're planning to make dozens of wax seals, using a sealing wax glue gun with sealing wax sticks is the quickest, cleanest, and most efficient method. The glue gun does not require flames or a heated melting spoon to melt the wax and is thus safer to use.
How to melt wax sticks with a glue gun:
Insert 2 wax sticks into the glue gun.
Heat the glue gun with the wax inside for about 5-8 minutes.
Pull the trigger to release the desired amount of wax onto your project and wait for 5 to 10 seconds.
Press down the stamp on the hot wax.
Let the stamp set for a few seconds before lifting from the wax.
