Getting Started: Inking & Stamping
- Open Pad: Expose the dry pad surface.
- Apply Ink: Dispense drops evenly across the pad (spiral or zig-zag pattern recommended).
- Spread Ink: Gently spread ink uniformly using the scraper or a similar flat tool. Avoid oversaturation.
- Wait: Allow 10-15 minutes for full ink absorption before use.
Initial ink application guide:
- Pad Size: 3.9in/10cm | Ink Amount: 0.35oz/10ml
- Pad Size: 5.9in/15cm | Ink Amount: 0.75oz/22ml
- Pad Size: 7.9in/20cm | Ink Amount: 1.35oz/40ml
- Pad Size: 9.8in/25cm | Ink Amount: 2.00oz/60ml
- Pad Size: 11.8in/30cm | Ink Amount: 3.00oz/90ml
- Ink Stamp: Press stamp firmly onto inked pad. Ensure even coverage.
- Position & Press: Place stamp flat on surface. Press down firmly and evenly across the entire block.
- Press Edges: Briefly apply slight extra pressure along edges/corners for full contact (especially for large stamps).
- Lift & Check: Lift stamp straight up, avoiding sideways movement. Check your clear impression!
